Welcome to our Farm!

Garden Patch Farms is a 30 acre u-pick field and orchard in Homer Glen, IL. The farm boasts the best tasting produce available. Guests on our farm are consistently delighted to find more than 4,000 apple, peach, plum, and pear trees. Guests will also find blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, and all sorts of vegetables. While some guests like to browse our expanding Farm Market, others demand absolute freshness and take great pride in making a journey into the field to pick their own fruits and vegetables only to prepare them moments later for a fresh and healthy meal. At Garden Patch Farms, we expect you to demand freshness!

Butterfly Festival, June 1, 2013

On June 1, 2013, join us for our first annual butterfly festival. On that day, we're asking our visitors to visit the farm for a live butterfly release. Kids can also release their own butterflies into the wild on that day with their own butterfly kit. The butterfly kit can be purchased at Garden Patch Farms. Kids will raise their own Painted Lady butterflies and learn about the process of metamorphosis. Join us on June 1!

(Please purchase your butterfly kits before May 1 to allow the butterflies time to develop).

Spring

Visit Garden Patch Farms in the spring for a wide selection of hanging baskets, window boxes, patio pots, annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, herbs, fruit trees, fruit bushes, color shrubs and other items to spice up your yard...and your life.

Summer

In season, visit Garden Patch Farms to pick your own fruits and vegetables. If you'd like, allow us to do the work and visit our Farm Market stocked with the freshest produce possible from our field and other various items, like honey from our own bees.

Fall

Each fall, Garden Patch Farms becomes a magical display of the year's harvest. Visit the field and orchard to pick your locally-grown favorites. Choose from over sixty varieties of apples and pears. Additionally, you won't want to miss our annual fall festival.

Winter

When the cold weather strikes, our store stays open to bring you farm fresh eggs and pure, raw, unpasteurized honey from the bees that reside on this farm. Also, when you're here, ask us about our annual holiday celebration, Christmas on the Farm.
